Anti Pull Dog Leash

How to use a double ended dog leash to stop pulling?

To stop a dog from pulling with a double ended dog leash, you use a technique called dual-point steering. First, clip one end of the leash to the ring on the back of your dog's harness and the other end to the ring on the front of the chest. When your dog starts to pull forward, the front clip gently steers their chest back toward you.

This setup works like steering a bicycle. By using two points of contact, you can guide your dog’s body sideways to break their focus on whatever they are pulling toward, making this leash type ideal for loose leash training because it's easier to stop and pivot or quickly change direction to keep your dog following your lead.
