Which width should I select?
Choose Regular (1" / 25mm) for medium and large breeds. It offers maximum strength and handling.
Choose Narrow (3/4" / 19mm) for small breeds. It’s lighter and better proportioned, while delivering all the same features.
How does the hands-free feature work?
Wrap the Ultra Leash around your waist and either clip directly to the O-ring or thread the CleverClip through the O-ring, cinch the leash, and then clip back on to the D-ring. This shortens the loop and locks the fit in place.
What waist sizes does the hands-free system support?
The Ultra Leash hands-free system offers four fixed settings designed to comfortably fit waistlines from 27–41 inches.
Setting 1 – 31.5" diameter for 27-30" waistlines.
Setting 2 – 35.4" diameter for 31-34" waistlines.
Setting 3 – 39.4" diameter for 35-38" waistlines.
Setting 4 – 43.3" diameter for 39-41" waistlines.
The Ultra Leash can also acommodate 42-43" waistlines but the fit becomes much less comfortable.
Can I use the Ultra Leash for no-pull training?
Absolutely. The dual-clip setup allows multi-point control to guide and manage pulling behavior effectively.
Is the Ultra Leash strong enough for large dogs?
Yes. The Ultra Leash is tested to withstand over 1 tonne of force and meets UIAA dynamic fall standards for climbing gear.
Can I use the Ultra Leash with a small dog?
Yes. The 3/4" (19mm) version is built specifically for smaller breeds. It’s slimmer, lighter, and offers the same adjustability, hands-free system, and hardware as the regular width.
What is the length of the Ultra Leash in each setting?
With the handle clipped:
Long length is 6 ft | 190cm.
Medium length/s are 4-5 ft | 125-160cm.
Short length is 3 1/2 ft | 105cm
No-pull mode (both clips connected to dog) is also 3 1/2 ft | 105cm.
Can I use the Ultra Leash as a dual-dog leash?
Yes. Clip one end to each dog’s collar or harness and hold the center of the leash. The Ultra Leash is not purpose-built for this but works in casual two-dog setups.
Is the Ultra Leash available in other colors?
Currently, the Ultra Leash is available in black. Additional colorways may be released in the future.
Does the Ultra Leash work with all harnesses and collars?
Yes. The dual CleverClips can connect to any front and back D-rings on standard collars or harnesses.
Can I machine wash the Ultra Leash?
Yes. Use a cold gentle cycle and place the Ultra leash inside the provided wash bag. Air dry only.
