Are double ended leashes good for dogs?

A double ended dog leash is very good for dogs because it is much safer and more comfortable than a regular leash. When a dog pulls on a normal leash, it can hurt their neck or pull their body to one side. A double leash clips to two different spots on their harness (or collar), which spreads out the pressure so it doesn't hurt or skew their harness.

It is also great for dogs that are a little nervous or like to jump. Because you have two points of contact, you have more control to keep them safe. It gives you much better control to guide the dog gently without having to use a lot of strength.
