A double ended dog leash doesn't physically shift a dog's biological centre of gravity, but it gives you much better control over it by managing their balance from two points.
On a standard leash, a dog can put all their weight into their chest and lean forward, which lowers their centre of mass and makes them harder to stop. By using two clips, you can prevent them from loading their weight into a single direction.
When you use the front and back clips together, you are able to keep your dog’s weight centred over their paws. If they try to pull, the dual connection allows you to gently tilt their body or guide their shoulders, making it much harder for them to use their full weight against you.
